Dion Lee Spring 2014, NYFW

tumblr

First off, congratulations to Dion Lee for his big NYFW debut. It is well deserved. There are many talented Australian designers out there that deserve to be known by the world. I love how he has his own unique, signature design but manages to elevate them every season, making them desirable and anything but boring.

Favourite looks from Wes Gordon Spring 2014's collection during NYFW. Love how masculinity and femininity are meshed together to create such a beautiful collection.

One of my ultimate favourite collections for FW 2012/2013. The Mulleavy sisters are unstoppable.

Phillip Lim has become one of my favourite designers. I love the simplicity and minimalistic look of his collection. Its like a breath of fresh air. Loved the colour pallet and the structure and silhouette of the blazers and pants. Its a collection for the modern woman.

3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2011 NYFW

Two of my favourite looks from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall 2011 collection. Who would think of a silk shirt with leather sleeves?

DKNY Fall 2011 NYFW

DKNY spam!! This is one of my favourite collections for Fall 2011 during NYFW. DKNY has done it yet again. I am in love with the whole collection, seriously. It suits my style and taste so very perfectly and it's extremely wearable. I love the fuzzy sweaters, the colour-blocking, the peter pan collar on the dresses, the over-sized sweaters and blazers. The shoes add just enough edge to the outfits without being over the top. The collection reminds me of a modern woman who is strong and professional and wants to stay chic and stylish at all times. Not to forget, I love the hats as well. The colour palette for the collection is amazing and Donna Karan did not stick to the common muted colours of fall such as just blacks, greys and alot of other neutral colours. Instead the whole collection is a burst of colours with a touch of black and grey in certain outfits, it is so refreshing to see. I love wearing black all the time but this collection is just too good.
