Hei everyone, I've been extremely busy with exams for the past two weeks. Hence, the lack in posting. Today i would like to touch on the topic of Ombré hair. I'm not sure if you have heard of it but I guess most of you have. In fashion, ombre usually refers to the dying of fabrics that produces a pale-to-dark or dark-to pale gradation of colour. This trend for hair has been around for some time actually but its currently coming back into trend. Basically, its like when you dye your hair and it grows out and the roots are showing. Normally, this is a big no-no but at the moment it is in trend and quite a number of people and even celebrities are sporting this look. This trend is economical, extremely low-maintenance, and basically works with any type of hair texture and tone. You can get it done professionally; the technique used by hair colourists to achieve this look is by using a technique called "balayage". The colorist uses different shades of colour on the hair using a brush with a freehand sweeping motion. Or you can do it on your own which I have no balls in trying that out. I just think it's safer to get it done professionally.
Personally, I think this trend is totally rad. I would totally sport this look. But it does depend on an individual's personal taste. Would you sport the Ombré hair? I would really like to hear your views on this trend.
